This table was a challenging project in that it is actually hollow.  The table is made with a series of 45 degree cuts to make it look like it is one piece of wood from end to end.  The cherry was hand selected to ensure the grain pattern flows from the top, down the legs, to simulate a waterfall.  Being 7′ long, metal brackets were also added to the interior of the table to add strength and stability to the design.
